Thoughts or experience with these sights? I am looking at the red/green multi reticle unit, and plan to put it on my wife's sks model m sporter (the one that accepts ak magazines with the thumbhole stock), so recoil will be about like an ak i would assume.

It's a good sight, comparable to the Propoints. Should hold up fine for a long time on an SKS.
