| Between the two lights listed in the subject heading, is one preferable over the other? I see the the Browning should be brighter and the Bushnell should have longer battery life, but are there other noteworthy differences I should consider? |

Hi,
Besides the Browning having over 50% greater light output (130 Lumens vs. 81 Lumens) and being smaller in size, (5.1" vs 6") and both lights having the same 2 hour run time....
My vote is with the Browning. This super bright light also comes with red, green, and blue filters, but it's still blindingly bright with a filter on it. It fits comfortable in your pocket and has a belt clip to keep it there. The only down side is the cost of the batteries. However, in cold weather, the CR123 Lithium batteries are not nearly as affected and will retian the majority of their power. Alkaline AA battery performance drops significantly below 32 degrees.

Thanks for the suggestion. Maybe I'm missing something though, because I thought they both used lithium batteries. Also, the Bushnell is listed as having a 4 hour runtime.
Finally, the product page doesn't show that the Browning light comes with any colored filters.
So I'm still uncertain because of these inconsistencies.
I'd appreciate any clarification. |
