Sorry I couldn't find a goggle section so I figured I would post here.

I'm looking at the Spy Solider White Goggles (#310686396061). Is that picture representative of the actual lens? The description says blue orange lens however it looks like the bronze-red mirror lens. I'm hoping someone can chime in as I want to buy these but want to make sure which lens is shown in the picture.

Thanks much

Those model numbers with so many digits make my brain hurt!

You are right, the 310686396061 Spy Optic Soldier Goggle in the picture has the bronze-red spectra mirror lens. Unfortunately, we are no longer able to get this frame/lens combination, but it's the best picture we have of the bronze tints.

The Spy Optic Soldier with the blue with orange spectra mirror lens is the model 311031396061.

The bronze-red spectra mirror lens and the blue with orange spectra mirror are available for purchase separately at Spy Optic Soldier Goggle Replacement Lenses. This way, you can mix and match with the different colored frames.

Peter -
Thanks for clarifying. In the link you gave for soldier replacement lenses is the bronze-red spectra mirror the 4th from the left? (in the pic)? Just wanted to double check.

Thanks much for the reply!

Hi EC,

Yes, the 4th lens from the left in the picture of the Spy Optic Soldier Replacement Lenses is the bronze-red spectra mirror. The picture is a good representation of the color.

I checked the Spy Optic web site to see if there are any better pictures but, unfortunately, I couldn't find any. In fact, I didn't find any pictures with the lens and it makes me wonder if the color is still available.

There can be a lot of change in eyewear collections this time of year and it may be that we need to update our lenses for the Spy Optic Soldier.

It looks like the straight Bronze (without red spectra mirror) is available. You can see pictures of the bronze lens on our pages for the Spy Optic Omega Snow Goggles and the Spy Optic Targa II Snow Goggles.

I'll contact our rep today and post a message here about the availability of the bronze-red spectra mirror.

Let me know if there's other colors you're interested in.

Pete

Hi EC,

Sorry for the wait. It took me longer than I expected to learn the status of the bronze-red spectra mirror lens.

The future for that lens is not certain.

However, Spy Optic has a "hand-full" (I heard 16) of the lens available.

It is only available as a replacement lens and is not sold in a combination with a frame.

I'm not sure how long their supply will last, but I think there is a little time.

If you decide to order, it would be good if you called us on a business day (Pacific Time when Spy is open) at 800-504-5897 and asked for me. I will do a final confirmation before the order is placed.

It's a hot looking lens! Does your ensemble emphasize reds?

This may be the end of the line for this lens. If you like it, you may want to pick up a spare while they last.

Thanks! What's the best way to reach you? Under the 'sales' option? 'product availability' option etc when I call in?

The "sales" option on the phone system might be easiest, and then ask to speak to Peter. Any option on the phone is okay, and then ask for me.

If you will be ordering a Soldier frame, it would be good for me to know which frame/lens combo you're interested in and I'll confirm the stock on that also.
