upside down telescope

I have recently purchased a second hand AJ 60 PENTAX TELESCOPE. I have checked all the part are there, but when it is assembled everything is upside down.

Hi

This is completely normal in many types of astronomical scopes. In fact, many astronomy maps are printed "upside down" with this in mind.

If your scope is a refractor, using a 90 degree star diagonal will flip it right side up, but images will be reversed right to left. If your telescope is a reflector, there are no workable accessories to flip it right side up.
