Does anyone have an opinion on NCStar's red/green dot scopes? I believe the one in question is a model DAB. I'm looking for something inexpensive and simple, yet not a piece of junk. Those are so cheap
I imagine they are junk.

I bought a DAB recently for my BL-22 and it performs pretty well for a $17 sight. The biggest problem I found was that out of the box the switch was _very_ hard to turn. No way the women folk would be able to use it without some extra leverage. However a small drop of Tetra gun oil between the switch and the base and a few rotation of the switch seem to have freed it up.
The dot is quite large -- about 10 MOA -- but on a 22 loaded with subsonic ammo I'm using for knocking off pests that's actually an advantage.
