Dear Sirs:
I have been in the market for my first telescope for a couple months. The information your company provided through this forum and on the phone was invaluable in helping me with my decision. I am writing today to say thank you for such great service! I ordered my Celestron 130 SLT telescope late Thursday and it arrived today. Fast shipping and the order process could not have been easier.
I just finished unpacking the Celestron 130 SLT and setting it up. Of course, I haven’t actually used it yet since it’s still light outside but can’t wait for the sun to go down and give it a try. I can say the quality of the components seems to be of very high quality and the assembly was very easy. I almost didn’t need the quick set-up guide that was included with the very thorough instruction manual.
Thanks again for all your advice and fast shipping. I look forward to many enjoyable evenings using my new telescope and learning the night sky.

As many posts as there are here I doubt you remember me. Last fall you and Opticsplanet really helped me out to decide on my first telescope. Since then I've bought an eyepiece set and a solar filter to extend my viewing during the day of our sun.
As I'm sure you know, last Wednesday was a lunar eclipse and I had my 130 SLT out on my back deck. It was a great experience as this was my first celestial event since I got my telescope (besides the part of me freezing my rear off in below zero temps)!
Just wanted to say thanks for all your help and let you know I'm really getting into using my 130 SLT. The quality and performance of this unit is very good for the price I paid. Have a great weekend.

Really nice to hear from you and so glad you are enjoying your new scope and your astronomy. I do remember, you, by the way. Hey, I grew up in Nebraska, just down the road in Linocoln!

I had forgotten you told me you were from Lincoln. Hello from the Cornhusker state! Funny, I grew up in Springfield, IL and now live in Omaha and you grew up near here and now live in Chicagoland where my favorite football team hails. Want to trade? Take care.
