Has anybody used or heard any good or bad things about Barska SWAT Ext Tac 10-40X50 scope. I have a 308 FN FAL and my HAKKO scope is braking down internaly after a few years and I can't bring my self to spend that kind of money again.

Hi

The Barska is a typical Chinese product with an attractive price, but if you have had trouble before with a scope breaking down, before, you should probably consider something more durable (and, yes, more expensive), especially if you will be shooting a lot or operating under harsh conditions. It just isn't realistic to expect something in this price range to compare to the durability of a Leupold, Nikon Monarch, Bushnell Elite and so on.
