| I do a lot of backpacking and hunting in Idaho, Utah and Colorado. I am looking for a very lightweight, waterproof and hopefully high quality glass. Is there anything around 2.0-2.5 pound in a 60mm that will work? I know there are some 50 mm, but I would really like a 60 if possible. 20-60x60 is that a tall order? |

| I know Swaro will be heavier, but is a Kowa better than a regular Swaro 60? Is the Kowa. 60 ED better glass than the Swaro 60 HD? |

Hi
Nothing better than Bogen in terms of what we carry, but you are not going to realize a substantial weight savings even with carbon fiber if you stay with a standing height size tripod. About the lightest thing we have is the Nikon 848 (made by Bogen) at about 5 pounds. Not going to have the smoothest head, but it is a durable tripod and plenty for a 60mm scope. _________________ Thanks for posting with us
