I bought a cheap Bushnell Banner Astro 78-1500 60 x 800 telescope without anything attached to the small end. I don't know much about telescopes in general, but could someone tell me what I need to connect the diagonal to the focus tube? It has a 1-5/16" female thread hole. Is there an adaptor or clamping ring that I'm missing? Maybe someone could tell me exactly what to call it and direct me to a source? Many thanks to a great forum.
That's not a part you will get from a dealer, as manufacturers don't offer such items to dealers to sell to customers. This is a replacement part, available only from the manufacturer. Only other option is to shop used.

You are very welcome. Let us know, as yours is a very common story. Lots of folks find these scopes buried in a closet or pick one up at a flea market. _________________ Thanks for posting with us
