I am looking for a monocular/spottingscope preferably fitted with a screen for the following application.

we are involved in doing weld overlay inside 12 metre long pipes. The challenge is to locate the tungsten electrode (3.2 mm diameter) inside a 125 mm ID pipe from a distance of 8 to 9 metres, when we resume the cladding operation.

In the esteemed opinion of the forum members, can the above acitvity be accomplished using an apporiate monocuar/digital spottingscope?

Hi

Nothing available in a scope with a digital LCD screen, but any good spotting scope with a suitable close focus should work. try the Nikon Prostaff.
