Hi,
In a move the eyepieces and the penta mirror to the scope were lost. So, I'd like to replace these. I've been looking at the web pages and see that Mead products seem to be okay. Yet, I have this important question: The back end of my telescope has a 1" opening. When I read the literature, all the discussion surrounds the eyepieces that tend to be 1.25 or 1 & 1/4". Great, but I'm trying to replace lost parts. So, the question is will Mead or other products that say 1.25 fit into the 1" hole on the back of the scope?
Franky, the aftermarket products are looking far better than that which came with the telescope. Hope I don't have to just throw it away.
Thanks,
Mike |

Hi
Sorry, no. You cannot use 1.25" accessories, such as a diagonal, in a scope that uses a .965" (one inch) focusing tube and, unofrtunately, .965" accessories are difficult to obtain, since this size is obsolete. You might want to try Bushnell to get a replacement part. _________________ Thanks for posting with us
