HI,
Looking to get some new binos in 10x42. I would like to get a nice pair that will last me a long time. I am considering:
Pentax dcf sp
Pentax dcf ed
vortex viper
vortex razor
leupold golden ring hd
minox hg
alpen rainier
bushnell elite e2
In your opinion, which bino offers the best brightness and resolution. Another factor would be edge to edge clarity.

Hi
Absolutely any of those will do what you need. There is never a "best" model that will be "best" in every feature category and much of your decision will be based on subjective factors, including handling, brand preference and so on.
In terms of strictly optical performance, from optical tests, I would score the Pentax DCF ED as my choice. In terms of value, I would rate the Bushnell E2 as the "best".
Again, any of these will do a good job.
