Hi there

I would like to know please your opinion about the Alpen Apex 12x50mm and the Brunton Eterna 15x51mm-which between both deliver a best image quality?
Show the 15x51 some evident color fringing?

regards

Hi

Not going to be a huge difference, but I like the Apex, overall, for its optics. Mostly a matter of magnification and body style. The Eterna is a bit unusal in its handling, but since you should be using both of these magnifications on a tripod, probably not an issue.

Hi

Ok thanks - The Apex and the Eterna use to show some color fringing around bright objects?
Which between both deliever a sharpest image?

Hi

You are always going to get a little color fringing with binoculars, though it is usually not an issue for most applications. I'd rate the Apex a better choice for optics.

Ok thanks again.

My last doubt since the Alpen have a better optics - how they compare in optical quality with the Celestron regal 10x42 (despite the 12X X 10X)? Which would be the best?

thanks Again

Hi

I'd say very close, but it's a moot point - the Regal is no more. Celestron no longer makes it.
