Joanie K - I would like to know the "professional" materials (air, brush, fluid types, paper or microfiber cloth) and steps to clean a spotting scope lens. Any special steps or "bewares" to multi-coated lens?

I am new to the spotting scope world and don't want to damage the lens - just keep them clean!

Again Thanks for all your help and info.

Hi

You don't need "professional" materials. A simple lens pen, such as the Nikon lens pen, is my favorite or you can also use a lens cleaning cloth, which has the advantage of being washed when it gets dirty. Have cleaned the most expensive spotting scopes made with these.
