Hi,

I have an Orion SkyQuest XT10, with which I occasionally take pointn-shoot images of the moon. I recently purchased a Canon 400d S (Rebel xTi) and would like to use that. I understand that with this setup, I use an adapter and a ring rather than the telescope eyepiece and the camera lens, but I am not sure that I have selected the right ones. Are these correct?

Zhumell Universal T-Adapter - 1.25" Camera Adapter 1.25-UNI-TADAPT

Zhumell T-Rings/ T-Mounts - Models : T-RING-EOS: T-Ring – Canon EOS - 35mm and digital autofocus

Thank you,
Tavi

Hi

If your scope is a reflector or a refractor that uses 1.25" eyepieces, you are set. Schmidt-Cassegrains and Maks use a threaded adapter. All use the a t-ring.
