What can you tell me about my scope?

I just bought a used Simmons scope this weekend at a gun show. It is a model#21029 3x9 and that's all I know about it. Any idea on how old it is? How much did it cost new? What rifle caliber's will this scope be suited for?I bought it to mount on my 22, (I know it's an over kill) for this gun, but the price couldn't be beat.
