Vortex Diamondback vs. Vortex Vulture

Narrowed decision between Vortex Diamondback 10x42 versus Vulture 12x50. Use will be mostly mountain ranges to identify areas for closer examination with spotting scope. Thought the 12x may give a little closer view and maybe better brightness. Any thoughts?

Do both come with strap, lens covers & case?

Hi

Go to a 12x is not going to gain you a significant amount of detail, but is going to cause some serious issues in terms of stability and field of view. I don't think it is worth it, especially if yu are backing up your binos with a spotting scope.
