are they abny good?
I want to switch a brandless chinese 4x32mm (accurate so far, but not enough magnification and brightness) on a 7mmRem Mag for the simmons 3-9x40mm. My ultimate goal is to buy the Zeiss Conquest. If the simmons can take the recoil of a 7mm Mag i might be able to save up for a Zeiss. If it is not worth it, I will try to get the Zeiss for this season.
It will be for antilope, deer and elk in Colorado

Why waste money on the in between scope. Just get the one you want. Its hard to say that the Simmons will hold up to the 7mm magnum recoil, its easy to say that you will love and not regret the Zeiss Conquest.

Why even bother with the in between scope. The real savings is to get the good scope once and for all and be done with it.

yep, thats kind of what I was thinking about... maybe just needed the push to wait for a little more. How does the Bushnell Elite 4200 3-9 compare to the Burris fullfield II. I had one Burris in the past, loved the B-plex, no doubt any of these will be better than the Simmons, but what do rate best. Of course I know they wont be as good as the Zeiss, the thing is that I might not be able to save enough for the Zeiss this season.

In that contest the Bushnell Elite 4200 has it all over the Burris FF II. its a big step up.
