Very Happy hi, experts

need help about what i heard, is it true that digital system like bushnell stealthview and yukon ranger 5x42, could be damage if you are not turning it "ON" for long time, say 6-12 months ?????

i have an experienced with DV cam, even with well storage and displaced baterry, after few months without warming it up, the unit has sound but no picture at all.
send it back to dealer and said that the CCD unit has been damaged, and it's not worthed to buy CCD parts.

Hi,

I have not heard of this happening. Of course, we use our often enough that it does not go that long without being turned on, but I've never heard of one going bad from lack of use.
