silver scope

I recently aquired a marlin 17 mach II with stainless steel, bull barrel. I am thinking of putting a Leupold VXII 3x9x40 on it in the silver color. the scope color is not matching the bright silver color of the gun steel. Is a scope available in the bright silver color that is equal to the Leupold VX II?

Nothing is going to match 100%. If you're really that concerned with the color match, bring your rifle into your local gun shop for comparison.

This is an old topic. The likelyhood that you will ever be able to match the scope to your barrel is very very slim. Did matching scope rings come with the rifle? If they did not then you will have a really fun time trying to get all 3 to mtach. You need to concentrate more on quality than color. The contrast between a black matte scope and a stainless barrel really looks good. How often do you go out on the town wearing the exact same color pants and shirt?
