Hi,

great forum. I have just purchased a new Burris 20-60X80 Landmark spotting scope. I have played around with it for 10 mins and it seems like it will be up to the job i need (identifying .22 holes at 200M).
I do have a question though and im hoping the scope is not faulty. In the lower area of the view, i get a milky white clouding. this is most extreme at the outer edge and disapears a little way in (wow this is harder to describe than i expected lol). I am a rifle scope user so im aware that my eye needs to be central to the scope, but however i move my eye the milky area gets smaller or larger, but its always there? At the absolute best eye position, the whilte is litterally just a thin line at the extreme edge, but its very hard to keep so still as to keep it there.
Also, the mag doesnt play much part in this, the milky is at its worst at X20 and best at X60

Thanks

Paul

Hi

Definitely a defect. If you can live with it, ignore it. Otherwise, send the scope to Burris or exchange it for a new one.
