I want porro bino min. 10x (I preffer rather min.12) with objective min. 50. Sometimes I need big zoom (details on wild animals in the distance ) and sometimes I need lightness (evening watching wild animals). What i the best of this bino??? I know that better is two bino (one for day and one for evening) but I can buy only one.
1. Bushnell Legacy WP 10-22x50
2. Bushnell Legend 10 or 12x50
3. Nikon Action zoom XL 10-22x50
4 Nikon Action EX 10 or 12 or 16x50 (16x50 is for mee slightly more expensive that I want.
5. Something others max 150 USD (max 200 if the quality is much more better) ???

Hi

The Nikon Action Extreme or the Bushnell Legend are the best of this bunch, both in terms of construction and optics. Never go with a zoom if you care anything about optics and durability.

OK, and Bushnell Legend 12x50 against Nikon Action Extreme 12x50???? Which one is better? Bushnell have Rainguard coat, is chaeper and lighter. That is why it is my favourite. Or Nikon is better???

And what about Bushnell Trophy 12x50??? Is this better?

Hi

Read the specs. The Nikon is not fully multi-coated, the Legend is, but not going to be a noticeable difference in image brightness.

Porro. A porro is always more optically efficient, especially whene ompared to a non PC roof prism. See our article. How to Understand Binoculars
