I have a 40 year old Redfield 3x9 rifle scope that needs work. Is there a company that does the "lifetime warranty" work on them. Seems to me there was an outfit in Florida that would repair them for about $28. Can anyone help? Thanks

Unfortunately at thsi time we do not do repirs here at Optics Planet. I am sure that there might be either the manufacturer or a major reseller that can help you out witht this. I would search on www.google.com. Thank you!

The best folks for any type of optical instrument repairs/restoration, is Osborn Optical Systems, 6324 N. 79th Lane, Glendale, AZ 85303. Email is:
optical-repair@cox.net. The outfit in Florida has a very bad reputation, i.e. poor workmanship, very long wait, poor customer relations.

I have had several Redfield rifle scopes repaired at Iron Sight Inc. they charged $53.00 per scope and there work was very good.In one case the body of the scope was bent and they gave me a reconditioned one to replace that one free.

Iron Sight Inc 918-445-2286 or 918-521-7736

Has anyone used the Miami repair shop? If so, how would you rate their service?

I had a Redfield scope fixed by the co. in Florida. It is an old 6X wideview.
The cross hairs were broken. I had it on a 30.06 for at least 30 years years before it broke. When I got it back I put it on a mini 14. I shot about 30 rounds through the gun when the vertical crosshairs started to separate at the center of the scope. The bottom half went to the right and the top half went to the left. Now it needs fixed again and I am not sure where to send it.
