I ordered a Celestron Green Laser Optical Kit, and a Celestron O-III Narrowband Filter. The Optical Kit was received in great condition, very quickly, but the O-III filter was not included in the packaging. Confused

Both the shipping slip, and the OpticaPlanet.com recipts show that both items should have been included in the package, but only one item was in the box.

I would like to know how I go about obtaining the O-III filter which I ordered?

I only hope that OpticsPlanet has some kind of system to track whether or not items are actually put in boxes.

It was shipped separately on the 21st. You'll get it shortly.

After conversing with the sales staff, yes, they have sent out the part for me.

What I am concerned about is that UPS charges a $40 brokerage fee for items which come from the states. I ordered these 2 items together to save on this fee. I didn't even really need the binoculars in the first place, but I thought I would save the $40 if I were to need them in the future.

Now that this item has been sent seperately, I am concerned that I will be double-charged the brokerage fee.

I don't really understand how UPS can charge $80 ($40*2) on a $150 order. That's over 50% of the total price of the item.

OpticsPlanet's prices are great, but if UPS is going to charge me this kind of outrageous fee (For nothing I might add) I may look elsewhere for products, to someone who uses FedEx, or USPS or another means of shipping.

I would just like to say that I am quite pleased with how OpticsPlanet conducts business.

Not only did they send the part out a couple days after notifying them that it wasn't received, but they have even offered to reimburse the additional UPS Brokerage fee that I would have to pay to receive the package.

I am very happy with the service that I have received and will continue to use OpticsPlanet for it's fast shipping, great prices, and excellent customer service.

Thanks again OpticsPlanet!
