bushnell elite 6500, help from a moderator please!!!

hi, im wondering when the elite 6500 4.5x30 mildot is supposed to be available. i am trying to wait patiently to scope a new rifle, but if it is going to be a long time i might go with something else. anyone know when this scope will be available on opticsplanet? on the bushnell site they are available but id hate to pay so much for them when opticsplanet usually beats the price by some $300+-. thanks - justin

Hi,

The last I heard from Bushnell is that they are expecting to release the Elite 6500 4.5-30x50 some time around mid May with no exact ETA. We are not currently taking pre-orders, but will begin taking orders as soon as they're available. Thanks for your patience, and they will hopefully be available soon.

I have two on order from two different retailers. They are both telling me that mid-June is the most likely delivery date. Bushnell told me the same.

Keep in mind that with a brand new product to the market, the official release date is never set in stone. Take the mid-may and end of June estimates with a grain of salt, because we can never foresee when additional production delays will be introduced. Don't plan a trip around the arrival of this scope, but it will definitely be worth the wait.
