Telescope for Husband

I want to buy my husband a telescope for our anniversary. He has never had a telescope before but he has recently been excepted to the UND Space Studies Masters program. I want to buy him a nice telescope but nothing too expensive. The most i can go for is $350.00.

Hi,

In that price range, the Meade DS2114 reflector is tough to beat. It has a computerized mount that will track the stars, and a 4 1/2" aperture to fring in some of the brighter deep sky objects.
