Hi there

I would like to know please the main difference between the Minox 15x58's modelsI found in my reseachs...
I found a model with the dioptric adjustment assembled at their right eyepiece and another one with the dioptric adjustment along with the central focuser - my question is - I have seen these both model to sell brand new in some dealers...the only difference is just the dioptic adjustment place?
How to identify the ''pre-ED'' 15x58's? I believe they were made at the past without the extra ED element, I am correct?

Thanks

Hi

All we can currently offer is the ED version. Sorry, don't have information on the older models, but you may wish to visit with Minox Contact Minox at 866-469-3080.

Hi

Ok thanks.

How do compare the 15x58's (ED glass) with the 13x56 BL (non ED) regarding the color corretion (color fringing issue under the daytime) sharpness and vivid colors?
Since are these 13x56's FMC are they over the 15x58's in light transmission?

regards Pedro

Hi

The ED is definitely and noticeably a sharper bino. Not enough difference in exit pupil to be significant in terms of image brightness.
