Could someone please help me out here? Im having a discussion with myself... Im said to myself, "Self, why do I need binos that capture images when I have a camcorder? Further, my camcorder can zoom 12 times, then after that, it will digitally zoom the image up to 300 x."
is there any advantage to the binos with the camera/video function? |

Thank you for your interest in www.OpticsPlanet.com. The digital camera binoculars have become very popular recently. There is a novelty of being able to take a picture with a pair of binoculars. This is great for sporting events and hiking, when you want a light weight binocular that isn't bulky. The camera does not zoom, and only keeps images in focus beyond 40ft away. That makes it useful for more distant pictures. I hope this has been helpful. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you. _________________ Best Regards,
