I purchased a new DPMS Lo-Pro Classic with A3 flattop for varmints and home defense. I plan on eventually getting a Trijicon or EoTech (but gotta have money saved up) but for now I was thinking of getting a NcStar 4x32 Compact Red/Green ILL. Mil-Dot Quick Release Mark III Tactical. Any reviews or comments on this scope? Or suggestions in same price range... $81.00 (keep in mind this is temp and will be replace by better quality, but at least I can get to shooting with it)?

Saving money is no excuse to insult such a fine rifle with cheap chinese cr@)ola. Don't do it. Just say no.

Get yourself a nice low budget Bushnell Legend 2-7X scope that will actually work better since you can go down to 2X mag for close in defense work, zoom up to 7X when you need it and is pretty clear scope. You will actually want to save it for another rifle some day when you get the better scope for this one.

Don't let the bell and whistle gizmos of this cheap junk fool you into thinking it has something useful on it.

2 to 7X is actually a very versatile range of scope to have.
