Need help with Telestar DS 2114

I'm trying to look through the eyepiece to see through the telescope but I don't see anything. I removed the dust cap and there's no lens on the front of it. But their is a small mirror & big mirror positined inside.

My ?. Is there suppose to a lens inside the telescope once the dust cap is removed?

Hi

Yes, there are mirrors. This is a reflector telescope.

Be sure to remove both caps, if you have two, on the front of the scope, near the focuser. The entire width of the tube must be open. Never remove the cap from the bottom of the telescope, opposite the focuser.
