Leupold Golden Ring HD

Now that Leupold made a large drop in price on GoldenRing HD binoculars
how do they compare to others in that $800.00 price range?

Hi

Optically, they compare, favorably with other binos in this price range. Only knock against the Gold Ring is handling. They are heavy and somewhat slippery in their texture, which can be a problem if you are wearing gloves. 33 ounces for an 8x42, these days, is unusually heavy.
