Hi,
The Mark 4 scopes from Leupold are excellent scopes. They are super durable and very well made. You cannot go wrong with this scope.
My personal favorite is the Nightforce NXS series riflescopes. These represent the ultimate in precision engineering, workmanship and reliability. The Nightforce scopes are made in the US with the utmost precision to ensure precise, crisp adjustments, excellent optical quality, and a lifetime of performance. _________________ Best Regards,

| My Friend has a NightForce NXS 8-32x56 for his .308 Rem. I think thats a little over kill, since some guys put that same scope on their 50 BMG'S. I'm not to crazy over NightForce cause my friend left his in his car all night in 38f degree weather and brought it in the house which was 70f degrees and it instantly fogged over, I know that all scopes will do this but after wiping the front and back lens the fog returned as if it were inside the scope. atfter that I kind of turned away from NightForce. Please feel free to correct me on this if my knowledge of the NightForce is off. THANKS AGAIN! Keep the advise coming! |

Hi,
Any time you bring a cold scope into a warm environment, you will have external fogging issues until the scope warms up. This is normal and will happen with all scopes and optical instruments that have not been treated with an anti fog coating or application. You can reduce this with anti fog wipes or Cat Crap lens cleaner and defogger.
If a Nightforce scope is fogging up on the inside, send it back to Nightforce for repair.
The 8-32x56 is a very high magnification scope. You could always go with the NXS 5.5-22x50 or 5.5-22x56. These are a little more reasonable. _________________ Best Regards,
