My father has shown interest in a spotting scope that he would use mostly for birding. He may use it for hunting and at the range here and there. I was wondering if anyone knew of a scope that would be good for this and in the price range of 100-250 dollars. Thanks a lot!

Try the the Bushnell Legend 20-60x60. Not going to do better for the money.
