Yes. They are the real deal. This model was earlier called the SUNSET, but i think that that was just someone trying to rip people off. I believe that theyre called ECLIPSE.

I've been reading this post for a while now, and I guess after learning everything I can about these OP-523's and after watching a pair go on eBay, well I'm ready to buy a pair from somebody. Seriously.

How much would you pay for OP-523's with tiny scratches on both lenses, and a broken nose piece? They can still be very comfortably worn, even the the nose piece is broken. They come in coral pink lenses. Not gothic rose. Lenses can be replaced by manufacturer for 50 dollars a lense. Solid color glass lenses.

Warning. I bought a pair of the above sellers so called replicas and they never showed up, he told me they were being posted from china i waited and waited . I reported him to ebay yet am still waiting for my paypal dispute to be delt with, i think the seller uses genuine pictures of OP-500s to con people.

if you closely to the detail of the sunglasses you can clearly tell there not
exactly the same the bridge of the nose has a slight bend to
them and the side arms are thin unlike the op-523's there thick
and have a long v shape to them

My OP-523 are not in gothic Rose. They are in Coral Red. The Gothic Rose colors have not been available since 1999. I had my sunglasses on ebay about a month ago, and they didnt sell. Due to some tiny scratches on the lenses, they did not want to give me what I was asking for. I have some pictures for the sunglasses if you want them. JuST EMAIL me at eddiedurden@hotmail.com

To Danboy: Okay, but Brad Pitt wears the Gothic Rose colored glasses, right? Desvergers pair (The Norwegian) looked identic to the one that Brad Pitt wears in the movie.. Or maybe Desvergers glasses were coral red colored just like yours?

To BaskerOla: It depends on.. Do someone here knows if it's possible to change the lenses, as in this case is orange, to the gothic rose lenses at any optic place?

Yes. The lenses can be replaced at any Optical. I am very sure that you can find an OPTICAL that could make something for you in the GOTHIC ROSE. The price of the OP-523 may vary, depending on the condition. THey did not want to give me the 1,550 i was asking for. I have seen them go for more. But mine are not mint.
