What rings and mounts for Weatherby Vanguard and Nikon Prost

...Prostaff 3-9x40.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! I don't know if the Nikon scope
needs one inch or 30 mm rings and I have no clue what bases to use.

Hi You are very welcome. Always glad to help.

The Prostaff is a 1" tube scope and with a 40mm objective, you will need medium height rings.

The Vanguard takes the same Leupold bases as the Remington 700. For a base set, try the Leupold 50015 (gloss) or 50016 (matte)http://www.opticsplanet.net/leupold-standard-2pc-2-piece-base.html

For rings, go with the 49900 (gloss) or the 49901 (matte), http://www.opticsplanet.net/leupold-standard-2pc-2-piece-base.html
