Since it is battery powered, if the battery runs down does that shut down the range finder only still enabling you to use the scope? Also the stats state the effective range as 33-766 yds. Again are they still referring to the range finding function only.

Hi,

Yes, both the range listed and the batteries are only in reference to the rangefinder. This still functions as a riflescope with no batteries.
