Opinion on best all around scope to mount on weatherby 300 winmag rifle. Expect to be taking shots ranging from 0-400 yards.

This is a big Ford vs. Dodge vs. Chevy topic that is always debated on these forums. The big contenders are the Bushnell Elite 4200, the Leupold VX-III, the Nikon Monarch, and the Zeiss Conquest. Best advice it to check out a large outfitter that has all of these so you can compare them side by side. You won't go wrong with any of them.
