red dot yrs. scope fro hand gun

I am looking to add a red dot sight (bushnell holo or burris speed dot) to my 44 mag for hunting applications. The burris fast fire is out. My problem is I don't want to loose the ability to see game in low light conditions (early dawn and sun down). I know one of the benefits of a high quality scope is the ability to gather light. Is there a red dot or holographic that would be best suited for what I want?

Hi,

Red dot sights are excellent for handguns in lower light, especially one that you can adjust the brightness to a dimmer setting. Having a reticle that is too bright will wash out the picture and you will not be able to see past the reticle.

I'm a huge fan of the EOTech sights. I think they're one of the best available. Also check out the Aimpoints. There is no stronger red dot than the Aimpoints.
