I need a rangefinder but cannot quite decide what way to go. I have thought about Bushnell Yardage Pro Laser Rangefinder 8X36 Quest Binocular, but they are a bit heavy, and I think maybe it would be better to get a cheap standard rangefinder now and by a binocular when the budget gets better. I need something that reads out to 6-800 yards. 1500 would be nice, but 600 is ok. It doesn’t need any other feature, just plain range finding.
I want something that is quite safe from faults, since I live in Norway, and don’t want to send it back overseas..
Witch low budget range finder would you recommend?

The Bushnell Scout 1000 seems to fit the bill well at about $230.00. The Nikon Monarch 800 is quite a step up in performance with a retail quite a bit higher. I use a Gold 1200.
