I am looking to purchase a light/lantern in which will be used solely for outdoor fitness classes - that will be held on a football field with very little light.

I need a light/lantern that will cast a large radius are of light as opposed to a 'beam' on light. Must be waterproof and durable too. Outside usage

Any suggestions on products you have would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

Sound like you're going to have to visit Home Depot or similar. Our battery powered lantern like this Browning Black Ice will last a long time, but they are not made to illuminate a large area.
