Hi Joe
I'd suggest squeezing a little more for a good scope (be gentle). Going cheaper always results in a loss of optical performance and it also increases the risk of mechanical failure. Any scope, regardless of price, can go bad, but it is much more likely to happen on a cheap scope.
Okay, I'll stop preaching. If you force me into a corner and ask me to pick a varmint scope under $200, I'd at least go with a Korean made scope such as the Swift 6-18x44, http://www.opticsplanet.net/swift-6-18x44-premier-rifle-scope.html
Thanks for posting with us, by the way. _________________ ----------------------
