Quality Variance

Hi Joanie,

Do you notice quality differences in two pairs of the exact same brand/model binocular? (or for that matter between two scopes)?

I have read that there can be individual differences in each binocular even if they are made by the same company and are the same model.

Do you guys check for this before you ship an item? You sound like an experienced birder/optics person so I would trust your eyes to inspect a pair of binocs that I ordered. Would you do that?

Not a problem. Same answer, regardless of the category of optics. The more you pay, the less quality variation from box to box.
