I am looking to mount a scope on a Thompson Center Omega .50 caliber Muzzleloader.
The rifle is fully camo and I would like the scope to be the same.
I will be making shots in wooded area of about out to 50 yards.
I would like to stay with a 4X scope and feel anything bigger would be over done.
Any suggestions?

Hi

Yes, I agree, anything more than 4x is overkill at that range. The selection of camo scopes is limited, though, especially if you are looking a model with a parallax setting appropriate for that distance. About the only thing we list is the Nikon Prostaff 2-7x32, http://www.opticsplanet.net/nikon-riflescope-prostaff-2-7x32.html

Personally, I'd grab the camo tape and try for something a bit better like the Leupold VX-I in a 1-4x20, http://www.opticsplanet.net/leupold-vx-i-1-4x20mm-shotgun-rifle-scope.html
