Speed Gun Angle? Will a speed radar gun work at any angle other than straight to and from the object?

Hi

Yes, most guns will work at some degree of angle, but with limited success. With inexpensive guns, you may not get any reading at severe angles. With expensive guns, you may get a reading, but due to the cosine effect, accuracy will suffer. The greater the angle, the less the accuracy.
