video cam or binos? wich should i use

im going to a safari in Africa this summer an i would like to know wich is better for me to use a binocular with a digital camera or just a video cam?

Thank you for your interest in www.OpticsPlanet.com. The advantage to a digibino, is that you have an actual binocular, so you can view a live image, and take a picture. When using a video camera, you are looking at a projected image on a screen like a TV. You will not see as much detail on the screen. The binoculars are also more compact, easy to carry around, and are not quite as fragile. We have many digibinos available here, http://www.opticsplanet.net/digital-camera-binoculars.html.
