Question I am trying to find a spotting scope that will show a 1/4 inch hole at 200 yards. Will a 30x50 work for this? My vision is corrected to about 20/20. Thank you

Thank you for your interest in www.OpticsPlanet.com. The Yukon 30x scope, http://www.opticsplanet.net/yukon-30x50-scout.html, will have enough magnification to easily see a bullet hole at 200 yards. However, I do generally recommend a zoom scope for your purpose. The advantage to a 20-60x zoom, is you can start on low power which will help you find what you are looking for, and then at 60x, you will get a lot more detail on that image. For that I would suggest one of the following scopes:
http://www.opticsplanet.net/tasco-20-60x60-spotscope.html, Tasco world class, or
http://www.opticsplanet.net/bushnell-sportview20-60x60.html, Bushnell Sportview.

Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you.
