I posted the other day but I'm still not sure which scope to get for my a-bolt. Mostly all my shooting will be paper target, 100 to 200yd. range. But someday I'd love to varmint shoot. Should I get the basic 3-9 in either, Kahles 3-9x42 American, or zeiss conquest, or increase the mag. to a Nikon monarch 4-12x40, 5.5-16.5x44 or a Leupold 4.5-14x40 VX-III .
Thanks for your imput.

Hi
If you are looking down the road to do some varmint shooting, a 4.5x14 makes sense, though I would buy a scope based on your primary use right now. A Conquest 3.4-10x44 would be hard to pass up. Better yet, go with the Conquest 4.5-14x44, http://www.opticsplanet.net/zeiss-45-14x44mm-conquest-rifle-scope-with-zrf-reticle.html _________________ ----------------------
