Hello,

I want to know there is a small and portable magnifying glass that will ease my job. My job is to inspect braided cables. These cables are braided with wires that are as small as 0.004" wide. If the magnifier comes with a light, that would be great.

Thank you for your interest in www.OpticsPlanet.com. For your purpose, a magnifier is not going to have enough magnification. Your best bet would be to try our LOMO SF-50BA stereo microscope, http://www.opticsplanet.net/lomo-sf50ba.html. That will give you more magnification, which is closer to what you will need. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you.
