| I currently have a VXII 3X9X40 on My A-Bolt 270WSM. I just bought a Ruger 77/17 HMR. I was thinking of putting my VXII on my Ruger 17 and uprgrading my A-Bolt scope. I need about 4 suggestions and a little critique.............Thank You & Happy Mardi Gras |

Hi
If you are upgrading from a VX-II, I'd recommend these. There are, of course, many others, but this would be a nice start.
Zeiss Conquest, 3-9x40, http://www.opticsplanet.net/zeiss-3-9x40mm-conquest-rifle-scope-with-z-plex-reticle1.html Premium class optics at a great price and assembled in the US. I consider this a best buy.
Leupold VX-III 3-9x40, http://www.opticsplanet.net/leupold-vari-x-iii-35-10x40mm-rifle-scope.html If you liked your VX-II, this will be a brighter scope with nicer windage and elevation adjustments.
Bushnell Elite 4200, 2.5-10x40, http://www.opticsplanet.net/bushnell-25-10x40-elite.html This is an overlooked scope because of the Bushnell name, but it is an excellent scope optically and mechanically.
Burris Signature 3-9x40, http://www.opticsplanet.net/burris-3-9x40mm-signature-select-scope.html Another classic alternative to a Leupold.
Kahles American Hunter, 3-9x42, http://www.opticsplanet.net/riflescopes-kahles-ah3-9x42-plex.html A touch of class here in a great European scope. _________________ ----------------------
