Hi
Where was the scope made? If made in China, you can ssume a value of around $100 or less and it is probably a clone of those made by BSA, Tasco, lower end Bushnell, etc. _________________ ----------------------

I do not know where this scope was made . I would like to find another one like it . Ihave this scope on my mohawk 600 in 308 cal. It has been on there for several years and has held its clairity perfectly. It has fallen off of my 4 wheeler in Coloraro and bounced 6 feet up in the air and hit the ground and its never been knocked off. It holds dead on at 200 yds and is never off. That is why I would like to find out who makes it and possibly get another one for another rifle that I have. But I have had no luck in finding who manufactured this scope. Thank you for your reply.

I have an ultra vision 3x9x40 scope that I bought at a local gun shop 10 years or so ago. I paid 49 dollars because I was told it had the best lifetime warranty: the gunshop owner said if it stopped working he would take a new one out of his case to replace it and get a new one from the company. The gun shop has since closed and the scope went foggy a while back so now I'm trying to find out were to get my exchange. It was a really nice scope and the fog thing is something they all do over time sitting on a high powered rifle year after year. [/b]

Forgot to say it is stamped "Korea" under the scope's bottom adjustment ring.

Your sort of right. Any $49 scope will eventually fog. A quality scope should give you a lifetime of service without fogging. I think you are just going to be out the money. If you got 10yrs of service out of such a scope just consider yourself lucky and buy a new scope.
